Update on the GITC Approved Suppliers ranking

I wrote a post a few Tuesdays ago, regarding ranking for search term "GITC Approved Supplier". A few minutes after I created the post, Google index the post the new post went to Number 9 and the one I was wanting to rank went to 10 on a desktop search from Firefox in private mode. Whereas on a mobile device it was number 10 and 11 for the article called ‘Number 9 for “GITC Approved Suppliers”’. The websites on page one for the keyword are large Government websites – which are not overly optimised but they hold huge authority.

So the GITC Suppliers Page is now sitting at position 8 as you can see above for both desktops and laptop searches. When I look at Google webmaster tools I see the search term “GITC Approved Suppliers” has had 60+ searches for the month which is not huge by any stretch of the imagination.

Keyword rankings is good to know, but creating an income for the keywords is more important. It will be interesting to see what occurs with the rankings for "GITC Approved Suppliers" after this post.
