Position 6 for SEO Consultant Brisbane

So what did I do post the publishing of SEO Consultant Brisbane article? I did a manual rebuild of the Sitemap.xml – didn’t really need to as it had just a few minutes prior. Did a review of the web server logs and Google bot had just done a bit of a crawl of the site. I considered submitting the page to Google via Webmaster Tools – but I resisted. It was hard not to though – just wanted to speed up the whole process.

Then at 5:30pm that night I just couldn’t resist I submitted the SEO Consultant Brisbane page to Google Webmaster tools and it looked like the page had gone to position 16 – so page two! I was pretty happy with that. So I did a rack check with Rack Tracker to get a record!

The next morning I checked the ranking stats with my coffee as I always do! It’s like an addiction! And I still cannot kick the habit after all this time – despite Google update after update.

Either way the rankings changed overnight to position 6 – Page 1 in 24 hours!

Not sure why Google Authorship is not displaying my picture – but I will investigate that at some point.

Google Webmaster Tools is still only showing data from the 9^th of August 2013 – so no chance of seeing any data for the term SEO Consultant Brisbane. However there is unlikely to be much search volume anyway.
